Dear Colleagues,
The National Guard Health Affairs – King
Abdul Aziz Medical City – Riyadh and the
King Saud bin Abdul Aziz University for
Health Sciences - Postgraduate and Medical
Education in collaboration with the Saudi
Hematology Group are pleased to invite you
to the 6th Annual International Hematology
Conference. Two parallel symposia, the 1st
Annual Hematology Nursing Symposium and 1st
Annual Laboratory Technology Symposium, will
be an additional feature for this
conference. The combined meetings will be
held, March 19 – 22, 2007 in Riyadh, Saudi
Arabia. More than 1000 participants are
expected to attend, and I hope that you will
join us in this unique scientific and
cultural experience. I would like to extend
a warm welcome to our distinguished guests,
invited speakers and participants and thank
you for participating in this Conference.
The Scientific Program entails the latest
and most exciting developments in the
scientific research of hematological
disorders. The program is comprehensive and
stimulating with contributions from pioneer
and expert speakers from all over the world
who come to share their expertise on a wide
range of issues which continue to challenge
us in our daily practice. This opportunity
offers a unique and dynamic educational
experience that fosters an atmosphere for
continued learning, and is designed to
broaden and enrich your understanding.
Furthermore, an open public
session will be held to further reach to the
public and enhance public awareness about
hematological disorders in general.
State-of-the-art exposition, featuring
exhibits from pharmaceutical companies,
medical suppliers, clinical diagnostic and
research-based companies, publishers, and
non-profit organizations will be an addition
to the conference.
In addition to the outstanding scientific
program, visitors will be able to enjoy the
culture and sights of Riyadh and the
surrounding area. Steeped in history, Riyadh
offers visitors a distinctive cultural
experience. Apart from its importance as a
seat of government and as a thriving
commercial center, Riyadh is also the center
of Arab diplomacy. Many unique sightseeing
and shopping opportunities are also
available.
Once again, I would like to extend my
gratitude to the National Guard Health
Affairs and King Saud Bin Abdul Aziz
University for Health Sciences, represented
by Postgraduate Education and Academic
Affairs, the organizing and the scientific
